Tashinny National School

Tashinny National School is a  2 teacher Church of Ireland co-educational Primary School. in Co. Longford.  We welcome children of all faiths and none.

We maintain strong links with the Parish and participate in Harvest, Carol and in other special services.  Diocesan youth workers and other church leaders take school assemblies from time to time.

Our school is a community where all pupils are equally valued and respected within a caring atmosphere. We foster a strong work ethic where each child is supported to work to the best of their ability.  There is access to learning support when required.

As a school we try to ensure a well rounded education  which endeavors to develop the skills and abilities of each individual child as fully as possible.  Our curricular and extra-curricular activities are broad-ranging and diverse.

Our school building is modern and spacious and is well equipped with IT and AV equipment. We have a large general purpose room and extensive play area which includes a woodland and school garden.
