School Activities and Achievements

Health Promoting Schools

In this activity we promote healthy living through curricular work and activities on nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and have been awarded a flag in recognition of our work!

Green Schools

We are proud to have achieved our seventh Green Flag on the theme of Global Citizenship, Litter and Waste.

Swimming

Children participate in swimming lessons in Longford pool for an 8 week period each year.

Gaelic Football

We participate in Cumann na mBunscol  League and Championship matches and are delighted to have been county winner over each of the last two years!

Drama

We regularly produce a Christmas show with plays, music, tin-whistle, dance and drama.

Chess

Chess is enjoyed by children throughout the year and the school participates in local Chess competitions and has had many successful outings!
